Arizona

Lots of spectacular desert scenery, yet the most amazing features have been carved out of the soft rocks by countless millions of years of erosion by water (and begs the question: where has all of the Grand Canyon's dirt gone to?). Yet these same parts of Arizona are prone to tremendous sudden rainfall and flash flooding which has carved out features like the awesome Antelope Canyon that towers over your head. As you walk through on the dry creek bed it's sobering to consider a very different and deadly situation when flash floods are running. Here are images of the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon and Page, Arizona.
