A part of the old city is closed off on Sundays to create the "Sunday Walking Market". Lots of character with food, crafts and clothing for sale. It's quite famous.
At the base of Doi Inthanon lies the majestic Wat Phrathat Sri Chom Thong absolutely stunning in its gold and silver reflective colours.

Doi Inthanon National Park contains several spectacular waterfalls. This one is Wachirathan Falls which had a tremendous flow of water over the drop. Here's Mae Klang waterfall.
