Two weeks in China during July 2009. A complete adventure and a privilege to explore a very different landscape, people, history and culture to what I have experienced before. I was left with many happy memories and I will return one day to continue this adventure. One change I will make will be to visit during a cooler time of year - July was just too hot and humid! A July visit was mandated by the timing of the total solar eclipse on the 22nd that tracked through parts of China including the densely populated Shanghai and Hangzhou.
