M68

Located in the direction of Hydra, it lies about 33,600 ly away. It is one of the most metal-poor (ie contains few elements heavier than helium) globular clusters orbiting the Milky Way, has a mass of about 2.2x105 solar masses and is classified as X (loose) on the Shapley-Sawyer globular cluster concentration scale (1927).
