Suzhou

Suzhou is renowned for its beautiful stone bridges, pagodas and carefully built gardens, epitomised by the majestic and quaintly named Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest private garden in Suzhou. Much of the city required rebuilding following the Japanese invasion and the aftermath of the Second World War.
