Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta

A flight from the small regional airport at Kasane took me low over the Okavango Delta affording excellent views of the wetlands. The stay at Sandibe Lodge was the highlight of the already highlight-full trip. Every day was an adventure: water crossings, Lodge fully open to wildlife, early starts, comfortable accommodation, getting as close as 10m to wild cats and lots of great opportunities for animal and bird photography. Add to the list watching leopards mate and seeing a pack of 10 endangered African wild dogs.

These photos, I hope, capture some of the adventure.
