Here you will find links to images of meteors that I have collected over the years. Photographic recording of meteors is surprisingly difficult since the meteors are generally short-lived and, unless very bright, there is little time for the light to record on the emulsion or the CCD chip. At times it seems that the meteors appear everywhere in the sky except in the direction where the camera is pointing! Anyway, with perseverence, lots of luck, battery back-up and a large memory card there is success now and again. Of course, with CCD imaging there are no wasted frames - just use the delete button!
